About the Opportunity Biological Services is seeking a full-time Administration Officer to join its Office team in Loxton, South Australia.
Reporting to the Office Manager, you'll play an important role in keeping the office running smoothly while providing exceptional service to customers, suppliers and colleagues. This is a diverse position that combines reception, customer service, administration and operational support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a busy environment. Based in Loxton, this opportunity would suit someone already living in the Riverland or someone looking to relocate to the region. Your responsibilities will include: - Answering and directing incoming telephone calls and emails
- Processing customer orders received by phone and email
- Providing assistance to customers, suppliers, staff and other stakeholders
- Preparing weekly dispatches, documentation and reports
- Booking freight and recording freight charges for invoicing
- Assisting with finance administration, including Accounts Receivable and debt recovery
- Maintaining office supplies and ensuring shared office areas remain organised and welcoming

- Strong computer skills across Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a professional telephone manner
- The ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently when required
- A current driver's licence
- Previous MYOB experience (desirable but not essential)
