About the Opportunity

As a senior member, you will be supporting the Director of KPI Business Advisory & the CFO of one of their important clients with both your financial and management accounting expertise. Working in the KPI office in Glenelg or on the client site in Kent Town, you will contribute your expertise in management reporting, R & D incentives, annual reporting and audits.

In addition, you be provided with all instructions and support to assist with:

• Report against quarterly re-forecasted budgets
• Review and monitor cashflow forecasting
• Complete BAS and other regulatory returns
• Complete payroll, LSL, payroll tax and WorkCover
• Assist with R&D claim preparation
• Provide audit assistance
• Assist with ASX annual company reporting
• Review and process share registry accounting treatment
• Liaise with external auditor, R & D and taxation partners
• Apply Accounting Standards knowledge

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong accounting acumen, Xero software skills and the ability to work in cloud based systems is a must. You may also have accounts preparation experience. Above all, you will be proactive, energetic, driven to learn, with extraordinary attention to detail.

You will enjoy client interaction and be skilled in developing strong working relationships with others at all levels of an organisation.

In addition to the above, to be successful in this role you will:

• Be qualified or nearly qualified CA
• Have the ability to provide timely and accurate financial information for decision-making purposes
• Bring a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation within the finance function
• Be highly proficient with Microsoft applications
• Have advanced Xero and Excel skills
• Understanding of the Australian Accounting Standards knowledge and treatment
• Demonstrate that you are able to confidently communicate with clients at all levels
