About the Opportunity

 

This newly created role blends both strategic and operational accountabilities and is critical in shaping Cara’s workforce by attracting, sourcing and hiring top talent.

 

Key to your success will be your ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective and efficient recruitment strategies that deliver on the workforce demand plan; and to ensure positive and industry leading candidate experiences.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Talent Acquisition: Build and execute talent strategies, manage the entire recruitment process, source talent through various channels, conduct screenings and interviews, develop, and maintain proactive talent pools, recommend effective sourcing strategies, and develop campaigns to attract the best candidates.

 

Onboarding: Ensure due diligence in the completion of required onboarding compliance and verifications; and collaborate with the HR team to ensure a seamless offer and onboarding experience for new hires.

 

About You

 

You are a creative thinker with proven experience in high volume talent acquisition in a senior leadership role, preferably in the disability or human services sector. You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for continuous improvement, and a commitment to delivering a positive candidate experience.

 

In addition to the above, you will bring:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Out of the box thinking to build and highlight our fabulous brand both in the market and internally.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment tools and platforms.
  • Experience with HR systems like Employment Hero.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and evolving the role to bring our employee value proposition to life.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance-related issues, including industrial instruments, legislative and NDIS requirements.
  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or Business
