The Opportunity Akuna Services is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our market presence along the Eastern Seaboard (NSW, VIC, QLD). This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional to drive business growth, develop strong client relationships, and contribute to environmental compliance solutions across multiple industries. Key outcomes of the role include: - Developing and executing a strategic sale and marketing plan to achieve sales targets.
- Building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers in industrial, transport, and government sectors.
- Identifying new opportunities and positioning Akuna Services as a preferred supplier.
- Conducting site assessments and audits to support clients in meeting their environmental compliance obligations.
- Providing expert advice on product selection, environmental safety, and compliance regulations.
- Managing the CRM sales process, from lead generation through to post-sale support, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Representing Akuna Services at trade shows, workshops, and industry events to stay ahead of market trends and expand business opportunities.
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: - A minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial sales (essential).
- A natural ability to build strong, lasting relationships with clients across industrial, transport, and government sectors.
- Experience in environmental products, industrial consumables, or related fields (desirable).
- A proactive, results-driven approach to sales and business development.
- The ability to conduct site assessments and provide tailored compliance recommendations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
