About the Opportunity
As Finance & Administration Manager you will oversee and guide all of the financial processes of the AWDS Group. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a key member of the management team. The role covers a wide area of responsibilities including:
Financial management across all AWDS financial processes
Financial reporting including preparation of the monthly management accounts
BAS & GST returns
Liaising with external advisors (tax, banking, insurance etc)
Act as General Manager in his absence
Manage and oversee tenders, quotations, and contracts
High-level oversight of warehouse operations
Ensuring employee performance is monitored and managed
Ensuring WHS compliance is maintained
You may be a highly experienced manager looking for a secure role in an innovative organisation, or looking to build on your post-qualification experience.
Hold an accounting qualification and be a member of a recognised professional accounting body
Have high-level knowledge of administration and business management systems
Have strong commercial acumen and the capability to provide timely and accurate financial information for decision-making purposes
Be highly proficient with Microsoft applications
Demonstrate strong leadership capability
Be able to evidence your strong customer focus
Have high-level communication and influencing capability
