This is an amazing opportunity for an Office Manager to join the HomePlace team!

 

About the Opportunity

 

The Office Manager will report to the HR Admin Partner. The Office Manager will need to work collaboratively with members of the Leadership team, and the broader HomePlace Office team members and be responsive to client/participant and staff requests and queries

 

Additional responsibilities will be:

 

  • Provide high quality customer service in all day-to-day administration support related activities
  • Administrative support including maintaining appropriate administrative records utilising MYP platform, SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Logistical support for meetings and teams and project events, including venue hire and set up, catering, resources, agenda preparation and minute taking
  • Coordination of HomePlace events for participants and families, staff and stakeholders, within budget constraints
  • Build and maintain positive relationships and act as HomePlace’s liaison with their managed IT service provider & landlord of the HomePlace office building
  • Build and maintain external relationships to assist with a collaborative approach to marketing and communications.
  • Take a leading role in the review and upgrade of HomePlace’s website content and presentation
  • Providing general information in response to participants, families, external stakeholders enquiries and refer to appropriate internal stakeholders when required.
  • Coordinate the procurement of stationary, IT equipment and HomePlace office items, within budget constraints
  • Maintain HomePlace’s IT registry and provide advice to the Leadership team on recommended IT items for procurement
  • Lead the ongoing implementation, training, and maintenance of SharePoint and MYP platform
  • Provide support to the Participant Support Scheduling team and the administrative tasks associated with MYP, participant roster generation and staff work plan publishing
  • Provide leadership and support to HomePlace’s Administration Officer

 

About You

 

The Office Manager will support the delivery of high-quality person-centred support for HomePlace clients/participants who are adults living with intellectual disability and their families. – To achieve this you will provide high quality customer service in all day-to-day administration and reception related activities.

To be successful in this role you will have/be:

 

  • Experience in managing administrative processes with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proven experience working as an administration coordinator, office manager or similar role
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in providing premium customer service and be respectful and responsive in all communication
  • Confident with Microsoft Office Suite
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities, including prioritising tasks effectively and meet deadlines consistently
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Ability to work autonomously while happily able to work within a team
  • Ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of personal conduct

 

It would also be great if you had:

  • Understanding of the NDIS and the disability services sector
  • Knowledge of the MYP platform
