They are seeking an experienced General Manager – Business Unit to lead and grow a high-performing technology division, ensuring operational excellence, financial sustainability, and strategic growth. This role is responsible for leading and growing a team of 15 (including 5 direct reports) while driving the business unit’s success through innovation, customer engagement, and exceptional service delivery. Key responsibilities include: - Driving sustainable growth and profitability while managing financial performance, including P&L, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Leading a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
- Overseeing project delivery, ensuring services are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities for business expansion and customer success.
- Identifying and mitigating operational, financial, and strategic risks within the business unit.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to align the business unit’s goals with overall company strategy.
- Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: - 5+ years of leadership experience in a senior role such as General Manager, Business Unit Lead, or Regional Manager.
- A proven track record of managing P&L and delivering financial results in a technology or services-based business.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams, driving cultural change, and fostering staff development.
- Demonstrated experience leading ERP or technology implementation projects with a focus on customer success.
- Strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with the ability to drive growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, ensuring positive engagement with clients and stakeholders.
- A hands-on, solutions-driven mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving business.
